A writer at the Washington Post has a proposition to heal the racial divide: give blacks reparations in the form of having their vote count more than whites.
Theodore R. Johnson, current Ph.D candidate in law and policy at Northeastern University, believes the racial divide will not resolve until some form reparations are made.

he forgets that before obama we were well on our way to putting racism to sleep forever at least it seemed that way to me because down here in the south we all seemed to get along pretty well and we still do from what i see but I think its mostly coming from the blacks up north because the blacks here in the south are good people they are exceptions in any race but we seemed to get along together I wouldn’t want to have to shoot anybody if we started a war but that doesn’t mean I wouldn’t if it came down to their life or mine and that is the thinking of most of the people so don’t push your luck and see you might not get another chance
