A writer at the Washington Post has a proposition to heal the racial divide: give blacks reparations in the form of having their vote count more than whites.
Theodore R. Johnson, current Ph.D candidate in law and policy at Northeastern University, believes the racial divide will not resolve until some form reparations are made.

The reparations would have gone to black people who were slaves. They all died 150-200 years ago. A lot of white people died in that civil war also without even a thank you.

He only proposes that it be for 24 years, so I suggest that it start when the 3/5 Comprises was no longer used, that being 1865. So let’s change the election results from 1865 to 1889.
