Nobody in their right mind would want a nuclear war anywhere, including on the Korean peninsula. We’ve already got a war going on there between the North and South for over 60 years. The only veil of peace has been a cease-fire that has more or less held for all but the first few years of the war. There is no peace treaty. The nations are technically still at war.
The world over have turned a blind eye, or simply chose to ignore sparking the political powder keg that resides in the North, but Trump and his Secretary of State Rex Tillerson are now in the game and seem willing to fight fire with fire.
The unstable and bellicose leader of North Korea makes no effort to hide his nation’s quest for nuclear weapons. Especially ones he can deliver anywhere in the world.
This has the potential to develop into an incredibly nasty situation.
Unfortunately, things are heating up as discussed on page two.
It would be over in minutes with sub and aircraft launched cruise missiles.
You guys have such a fundamental misunderstanding of the situation that I’m afraid you do not have the mental tools to come to grips with the reality.
Kim is projecting what he wishes to be. That country was not what we were fighting in the Korean war. We were fighting Chinese, along with Russian advisors. That situation would come into play again should we go to war there. If you cannot understand that, just stop, as you are too ignorant to add value. You would not be able to correctly estimate the true cost of the conflict or set an end state.
Neither China nor the US is served by having Kim able to unilaterally launch. I am sure we can come to an arrangement that suits us should it come to that.

Lets be honest! You hit North Korea with a EMP and you knock out all of their electronic capabilities including missile targeting and then you basically bomb the hell out of them before walking in and liberating their citizens.
Drop a few bombs on fat boy & his facilities… problem solved……
