Walmart has been installing facial recognition cameras at eye level in the entrances of their new store fronts for some time now. These cameras not only have the ability to cross reference you with social media networks to put a name with the face, but utilzes software that has the ability to ascertain a great many things about the environment. How much exactly is unknown, but in the video on the next page you can see that it not only tracks faces, but can categorize objects and motion.

I can’t believe people get so upset about cameras being in Walmart now days with all the idiots out there with guns shooting people for no reason purse snatchers ( that have been caught on cameras ) people breaking in cars some caught on camera. If you have nothing to hide and not doing anything wrong don’t worry about the cameras they might save your life or property some day. They have cameras in restaurants, gas stations every where you go so get use to it or stay in your house.
I hope they turn over the video to the fashion police.

These are NOT theft deterrent type cameras, these are Obama’s thugs watching your every move. These need to have a little distortion solution wiped on the housing globe daily, so the thugs(DHS) can NOT use them to track your movement. These cameras are going to be used against Americans in the coming year……
I don’t trust Walmart to even run their stores correctly. 2 lanes only open.. meanwhile 5 employees wander the store with nothing to do. Some bad planning/management there.
