In an open letter posted Sept. 21, Jon Ritzheimer said that he “has everything to lose” and plans to travel from Arizona to Michigan with an armed militia of a “growing number of patriots” to arrest Stabenow because she voted for the nuclear deal with Iran. Once the group has arrested Stabenow, the letter states, the militia will then move on and arrest other lawmakers across the country, including “the president who brokered this deal.” More of Ritzheimer’s plan on the next page:

I have been a life long Republican – the first President that I voted for was Ronald Reagan. However, the Republican Party has become a highly paranoid, divisive, damaging, and destructive group, with many similarities to the Far-Right / Fascist rulers and groups throughout history. The Republican Party has become radicalized and filled with extremists . . . It has become very dangerous, and it is at war with America. (*** – There are many similarities between the current Republican Party in America, and Adolf$#%&!@*/ the$#%&!@*Party, in pre-World War 2 Germany.)
I am unsure about my future vote at this time. I am sure that I will not be voting Republican anytime soon . . . possibly never again.

The supreme courts job is to prevent the constitution from being violated. They don’t legislate, they prevent legislation from existing that is in violation of the constitution. I’m sure if a law banning all firearms was passed, the people in this thread would be pleased when the Supreme Court overturned it.
