In an open letter posted Sept. 21, Jon Ritzheimer said that he “has everything to lose” and plans to travel from Arizona to Michigan with an armed militia of a “growing number of patriots” to arrest Stabenow because she voted for the nuclear deal with Iran. Once the group has arrested Stabenow, the letter states, the militia will then move on and arrest other lawmakers across the country, including “the president who brokered this deal.” More of Ritzheimer’s plan on the next page:

Jim Redmon Oh ok wil no need to read if it looks like it don’t make sense. If your going to arrest why wouldn’t you go to the state there at. Makes more sense to me to meet people where you have to be. Not going around the country and talk about it. I don’t think anything will happen. I mean really if someone really was going to do that they wouldn’t talk about it. Unless it’s someone with no sense and just wants to be known. Why you ask because your letting the country know and the most powerful man in the country your coming to arrest him. Is it me or isn’t that the dumbest thing someone could do? I mean do they think he is going to let them take him and his crew. Common sense tells me not to read the article.
