Socialism always starts as a “people’s movement,” with mindless and ignorant people being directed by elitist con men in the background, telling the foolish that by bringing down the “rich,” everyone will share in the abundance that socialism will bring. It is always a lie, and invariably almost all the people end up in poverty, with the exception of the top socialist leaders who live like kings. Fidel Castro is certainly one who has lived that life, and his protege, Hugo Chavez destroyed the Venezuelan economy pursuing the same socialist policies.
When the economy comes crashing down, it is necessary for the leadership to blame an outside source, and when Chavez was alive, he continually named the United States for all of the woes the country was suffering from. In fact, the oil rich country provides 9 percent of the U.S. gross oil imports, which must be a considerable sum of export income to the nation of 30 million people. As such, the U.S. provided a huge portion of the countries income, but Chavez resented that as well.
Venezuela has expropriated foreign and domestic businesses, which means that the people have little invested in the country and are becoming very unhappy with the leadership as it nosedives to complete economic ruin.

Man and Woman were created to live in absolute freedom and justice. In fact man and woman once personified original justice: man was in harmony with his/her creator, each other (male and female), with themselves, and with created nature. This original justice was identified as “very good.”
Man and woman knew the purpose of things (state of wisdom), the virtue of things, and therefore could live and act in justice. Man and woman were created with free will so as to love their creator, themselves, each other, and respect all things created. That is key, Free will is not the same thing as self-will. To choose the self over goodness is a corruption (ape) of free will.
There was one command from their Creator, “Do not put your hand to the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. On the day you put your hand to the tree, you will surely die.”
Now philosophically evil is the absence of the good. Evil is the removal of good which should exist in a thing. Evil is the deliberate choice to prevent a thing from reaching its purpose. For example the purpose of the eye is to see. To injure the eye is to act unjustly. To help a person see is to act justly. I think most men and woman can agree with that example at least for now. The ways things are going I am not longer sure. It takes honesty and courage to apply this example of purpose, virtue, and justice to each and every aspect of human life (sexuality, appetite, relationships, state of life, the fundamental pursuit of truth and happiness); it requires growing in original justice (a life of grace integrating faith and reason).
Why would someone want that which is the absence of something? It is like, “Paying for an ice cream cone without the ice cream maybe out of some form of guilt.” The purpose of the cone is to hold ice cream but evil expresses itself so that a thing does not reach its end. And so man and woman (dead to freedom) pay so that the ice cream cone does not fulfill its purpose. Paying for injustice is a little like exoneration. Think of ObamaCare which taxes people for things they do not want so that the evil of abortion, sterility,$#%&!@* and transgenderism may grow.
Again this example can be applied to every aspect of human behavior. Instead of a man seeking to bind with one woman for life, he pays for a prostitute or pornography, or to sit in a strip bar or sits in the Oval Office with a big cigar. On a more collective level how many married man and women now people pay so that married sex remains sterile and if not sterile, they then pay to terminate the child conceived? Since man and woman are social beings, neither is satisfied with being the only worker of injustice, “Woman tasted the fruit and gave it to the man.”
Evil cannot sustain itself since it has no power in itself. Evil’s essence is simply the actions of men and woman who entice others to share in their slavery versus the promotion of goodness (i.e. truth, beauty, justice, wisdom). This collective embrace of evil certainly is injurious but soon dies under its own emptiness. How long did$#%&!@*Germany survive? How long did Russian Communism survive? If it was not for Western Capitalism feeding Communist China over the last 30 years, it too would have collapsed. I suspect if Western Nations no longer payed for Saudi, Libyan, Iranian, Yemen, Sudan, and Iraqi oil, the machine of Jihad would quickly collapse.
Paradoxically, this is what humanity does when it invests in Socialism. The Kingdom of God which is peace and joy in the Holy Spirit is too hard, too slow, and too much like original justice. Socialism proposes to humanity a Kingdom not rooted in original justice but in moral efficiency, materialism, and forced equality.
Strangely in human history men and women were offered the opportunity to live in freedom and chose slavery and anarchy instead. The Creator then offered humanity a way out of slavery by offering the law. Then the Creator offered humanity the gift of grace so that men and women would live in freedom integrating both faith and reason. Then humanity for various excuses will the path of “either-or” (reason alone or faith alone) both eventually embracing law again.
Today humanity is tired of law and seeks only anarchy. Anarchy is bitter. Humanity instead of seeking to live under grace (original justice) chose instead to do nothing; allowing the state to choose for them. Socialism – a society in which the peasant chooses nothing – teaches humanity that in order to be like God, man and woman must divest themselves from all moral responsibility; the state dictates good and evil. In essence Socialism is the political “tree of the knowledge of good and evil.” As such to no one’s surprise, when society puts its hand to that tree; that society eventually dies.

Actually if you check your facts the flow is going back the other way. I can wait for the US to build the wall and get rid of all the immigrants. $135 billion to build it, $19 billion a year lost to AZ alone total of $ 100 billion a year across the southwest. Actually socialism, communism, capitalism, and the other sub categories are political theories and can be applied to the economy and the lifestyles of the inhabitants of said country. You can’t break them down into economy or government.
