House lawmakers say the Veterans Affairs Department’s $2.6 billion budget shortfall for this fiscal year is further proof of administrators’ incompetence and poor planning.
VA officials have a slightly different take, saying the shortfall is a sign of their extraordinary efforts to get veterans the medical care they need, regardless of the cost.
Either way, the department has a gigantic deficit to fill in the next three months. A bigger difficulty on the next page:
This is why I dislike Obama so much.
Where are our so-called representatives?
Budget shortfall due to increase of 7 million more appointments for veterans.
Come on Congress – put a stop to this at all costs! Sooner or later this will turn out bad.
Time to end this BS!!!!!
It’s time for Americans first. We need TRUMP now more than ever. Trump ☺ TRUMP ☺
The 2016 House proposal reduces VA medical care by $690 million. What does this mean? It means that the GOP controlled HOUSE CUT OBAMA’S proposed VA budget. As a result of the overall cut to medical services, an estimated 70,000 fewer Veterans will receive the VA care they need. Just as the gOP filibustered the veteran jobs and medical bill 3 STRAIGHT YEARS. GO GOP.
not fair and not right..who approved this??
Mason David I’m not voting for Hillary’s lying$#%&!@*
as a veteran this pos obama should be held for treason
