The movement against the BLM and Forestry Service western lands takeover continues to build, with the aftermath of the Malheur National Wildlife Refuge demonstration and the slaying of rancher LaVoy Finicum by federal agents serving as a rallying point for those who believe the federal government has grown too big and powerful, particularly in the western states. Don’t miss the video included later in the article.
The compliant media has circled the wagons to declare the demonstrators were radical, right-wing constitutionalists, as if the U.S. Constitution can be protected and promoted too much.
Somehow, those who dismiss the ranchers and their supporters in the western states can’t see that the government, which “owns” over 50 percent of the land in eleven western states, is much more interested in power and control, and much more committed to radical environmentalists than to farmers and ranchers trying to make a living on the land that, like as not, has been a family pursuit and way of life for generations.
To put a finer point on the issue, mere weeks after the Malheur protesters were arrested and the refuge cleared, President Obama declared three more parcels of land in California as federal land, with little or no future access granted to mere citizens of the state. And by parcels, I mean almost 2 million acres that are now set aside as an offering to the Sierra Club and their ilk, with no compensation offered to California for the taking.
Federal government supporters are painting protesters as lawless cowboys, ignoring the fact that the Constitution prohibits the federal government from owning more than a ten square mile plot in Washington D.C., and areas for forts and military installations that require state approval to acquire.
Watch as the Sheriff fights back in video on the next page:
Just doing what is right.
Here we go…
Too bad federal authorities trump county sheriffs. Good luck with that.
Yeah. Because Obama kills people all the time. Moron.
Go Utah! Now for the other states to follow suit. Oregon step up
Most Loyal Order of the Knights Templar will volunteer to help.
The sheriff’s office is the only police agency put forth by the Constitution and actually has the right to do this. Frankly, we need it.
Most of my tour wasn’t in “paradise” since I was NOT supposed to be there. RA and very young I enlisted for “West” Germany, my Demolitions Expert, Bridge Specialist AIT was needed attached to Mechanized Infantry Unit in Nam. I raised hell and spent 3 months in stockade, busted from Sp/4 to E/2 while they searched for lost paperwork they never found. Had to take two more AIT’s, wheel and track mechanic. As I was ending 3 yrs. my time in Germany, they started giving me rank to encourage me to re-enlist, then I busted my leg and back a month before my ETS, spent 5 months in Landstul Army Hospital, and another 10 months at Fitsimons Army Hospital in Denver. Again I got drunk before another surgery, pissed my Col. Doctor off enough he allowed my Honorable Under Medical Conditions Discharge. Oct. 5, 1975, war’s over and I’m out! I sawed off my casts, and 3 days, back to my wife in Germany, where we stayed for 4 more years. I tried to get my disability back from 10% to where it was supposed to be at 80% when I got stateside again. Got 20% DAV and 100% SSI and gave up on it. I’m no hero, but I’ve walked beside a few, and I’ve been hospitalized with a lot of TRUE AMERICAN HERO’S! Our oath of enlistment has no expiration date, I’m 61 yrs. old, right beside you BROTHER! I pray for peace, all the best to you! GOD BLESS THE USA! http://www.youtube.com/watch_popup?v=70Ikj1hZDnw&feature=related
It is like our Government wants us to go to war with them over our rights
Obama and his ilk have simply pushed to far. This is only getting started.
