The Utah Senate asked Congress to repeal the 17th Amendment, which was ratified under the Progressive’s of 1913. Utah has boldly challenged a system that was never the intent of the Founding Fathers and suggests that the 17th Amendment has resulted in Senators being bound to special interest groups, that donate enormous sums of money for the Senator’s re-election, and not representing the needs of the people of Utah.
The bill’s sponsor, Sen. Al Jackson of Utah, believes that Senators need to “come home every weekend and take direction from their state legislative (sic) body and from the House and the Governor on how they should vote in the upcoming week.”
Passing with 20-6 SJR2 was sent to the House. It demands that Congress repeal the 17th Amendment of the U.S. Constitution.

Love it
HELL NO!!!!
The greatest danger to American freedom is a government that ignores the constitution.”
If our newly elected leaders fail to fulfill their promise and allow America to continue in her death spiral…If they fail to uphold our Constitution…If they fail to reverse unjust laws…If they continue to drown out the voices of The Republic…We go to war and rid Washington of corrupt politicians once and for all. The time for negotiations is over…This is the Constitutional duty of every free American Citizen…
It is time that as Americans we alert the politicians of both parties that if they continue to fail us and allow our Constitution to be taken down, we will have no choice but to exercise the ultimate power granted to us by the Declaration of Independence, that allows us to alter or abolish a government that subjects us to tyranny.
The specific language is “But when a long train of abuses and usurpations, pursuing invariably the same object, evinces a design to reduce them under absolute despotism, it is their right, it is their duty, to throw off such government, and to provide new guards for their future security.”
The concept is certainly not new in this country, it is called a revolution, and it may soon be our last resort.
When governments fear the people, there is liberty. When the people fear the government, there is tyranny. The strongest reason for the people to retain the right to keep and bear arms, is as a last resort, is to protect themselves against tyranny in government.
We are getting our country back at all costs…That is the reality…We are III%…We are The Patriots…We are The Resistance…We are Americans hell bent on restoring Freedom, Life, Liberty and The Pursuit of Happiness for all…We will stop at nothing…The time for negotiation is over…It is that simple.
Thomas Jefferson wrote, “The Tree of Liberty must be refreshed from time to time with fresh blood of Patriots and Tyrants”.
Thomas Jefferson also wrote, “When injustice becomes law, resistance (rebellion) becomes duty, and if a law is unjust, a man is not only right to disobey, he is obligated to do so”.
William Shakespeare wrote, “Lawless are they that make their wills their law”.
Susan B. Anthony wrote, “Resistance to tyranny is obedience to God”.
Thomas Jefferson wrote: I believe that banking institutions are more dangerous to our liberties than standing armies. If the American people ever allow private banks to control the issue of their currency, first by inflation, then by deflation, the banks and corporations that will grow up around [the banks] will deprive the people of all property until their children wake-up homeless on the continent their fathers conquered. The issuing power should be taken from the banks and restored to the people, to whom it properly belongs.
