The U.S. Sentencing Commission’s action last year that retroactively lowered federal sentencing standards was supposed to pertain only to lower-level drug offenses, but we are being warned now by two Republican lawmakers that this isn’t the case.
House Judiciary Committee Chairman Bob Goodlatte and Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Chuck Grassley states that thousands of federal inmates with violent criminal histories will be released along with those without violent backgrounds.

NO!
Unleash the lawless on us and try to take our guns….karma will pop up it’s head as what goes around, comes around. Will get no sympathy from me.
I was just released from FCI Gilmer for misprision. The Bureau of Prison has been sending us bullitens about this since last July. It only applies to NON VIOLENT drug dealers who were convicted with no violent crime attached. They must have been sentenced to over ten years. Have served at least ten years to qualify for a two level reduction. Anybody who has a gun or violent crime conviction is not eligible. They told.us that if congress did not act by Dec of 2014 they would proceed with the reductions and releases. Congress had almost 15 months to stop this. Neither the Democrats or the new republican congress acted.
