According to President Obama, violent extremism is not exclusive to Islam. While he failed to cite any legitimate examples of where else and when extremism might of occurred in situations where Islam wasn’t involved, his disdain for people who speak out against it is becoming more and more evident.
And with the United Nations on his side, Obama is planning on using a global police force to counter jihadi forces, which according to him, include everybody except for actual jihadists. This plan would begin in American cities and eventually encompass the globe.

While violent extremism is not limited to any particular political ideology, it is most prevalent to Islam and has been that way the movement began as a criminal enterprise of Muhammad in the mid-7th century. Violent extremists of other ideologies occur like grains of sand passing through an hourglass. Violent extremists of islam occur like the grains of sand in a sand storm. These are much more frequent and are considerably more random and devastating.
