In yet another huge blow to our Constitution, the Supreme Court ruled in Jan 2015 that a police officer can violate your 4th Amendment rights if they make a ‘reasonable’ mistake regarding the law.
If you are ignorant of the law, that is no excuse, but if a cop is ignorant of the law, he can violate your rights.
As incredible as it sounds, any cop can ‘play dumb’ and proceed to do anything he wants to you and feel secure that his excuse of ignorance will shield him.
How in the hell can a cop be expected to uphold the law if he doesn’t even know the law?

There is definitely something wrong with our supreme court.
Law enforcement must be invited into your home by the owner or resident. They cannot enter without an invitation. If you are stupid enough of a Patriot to invite them in, they can search your home if they find ’cause.’ ‘Cause’ such as evidence of a struggle, extreme rage between two or more individuals, smoke or illegal substance in clear view. If you have no idea why they have come to your door, let them in after they explain their reason. Otherwise law enforcement need a warrant. If you force them to obtain a warrant, be sure you want ten people tossing your house upside down breaking heirlooms, furniture, clothes ripped apart, checking your drawers and all your closets. If you own firearms make sure they are legal and you have a license for your handguns if you have them. Be aware that they often take your firearms into custody, get a list and make them sign it for each weapon. MOST OF ALL, DON”T PLACE YOURSELF IN THIS PREDICAMENT>
This is all part of the progressive left’s plan to do away with our Bill of Rights. Next is the Cons$#%&!@*ution Convention sham where our Cons$#%&!@*ution will be eliminated.

AND If that judge didn’t understand that both he and the policeman must know the Bill of Rights, the judge should be disbarred..
Supreme Court is more like a kangaroo court… an incredibly disgraceful and illegal decision.
