Does this governor-elect have any teeth in his words or is it all political tongue wagging?
In an interview, Gov.-elect Greg Abbott, the current attorney general, said Texas Obama’s frequent vows to invoke questionable executive power to change immigration law have forced Texans to prepare for yet another “surge” of illegals crossing from the south.
Texas has shouldered considerable expense dealing with the problem of illegal immigration that’s being worsened by the White House, Abbott said, and one horn of any lawsuit would be getting the federal government to pay for problems it’s causing.
But he said the larger point is that immigration laws are made by the country from Capitol Hill, not the White House.
“We’re expecting the White House will not cross the line,” he said. “If the president crosses the line, he’s going to see an overwhelming rejection of what he’s trying to do.”
Good! Glad to see that Greg has a pair!
Really, there needs to be a restraining order filed NOW on obama’s amnesty plans.
where are you going to live, when the United States is cut up like Europe and the Middle East, because that’s what’s going to happen, if we don’t stop foreigners from invading our borders,in the south. The Muslims creating their own cities and states,if there should be Civil War in United States, you have to know that there are at least 7 to 9 countries waiting in the wings, the takeover. I asked where are you going to live, because once United States falls, every other country that enjoys freedoms, will also fall. This president, and his administration are the ones trying to make this happen, but it will be our fault, if we let them succeed, so where are you going to live
I am sure king zero is shaking in his boots. But I support the effort.
TEETH!! He’s from TEXAS, we don’t just talk. We back up our words
Greg Abbott will protect Texas. I total faith in him and his word to to do what he says he will do. He is not Obama… he loves his country and he loves Texas!
Sue him if he does it.
sure hope he means it!!!
Tongue wagging
It needs to be stopped from happening – not sued for, after the fact!
