Trial has concluded with a not-guilty verdict for Officer Craig Taylor, the cop that tasered and then shot multiple bean bag rounds fired from a shotgun that killed John Wrana Jr., who was only days away from celebrating his 96th birthday as one of our oldest living World War 2 veterans.
Taylor was charged with felony reckless conduct, although he should have been be tried for murder. When excessive force becomes this blatant we are outside of the bounds of considering that the officer was operating within police authority.

Everyone of the Officers involved should have been charged with MURDER. Not one of them are any better then the THUGS that attack innocent people. No wonder Our Officers have a target on their backs, because of a few FOOLS.

Murder the Cop with bean bags for punishment
Terrible! they could have went in and taken it away from. They didn’t use any common sence ! What if was one or ther relation i am sure they would have done differntly .. There was enough officers there they could have overpowder him.!
TASER and shoot this p***k cop with bean bag rounds constantly, non stop until he dies no matter how long it takes!!
If a Police Officer isn’t strong enough to handle an elderly man of this age – he shouldn’t be on the Police Force !!!
this is crazy , this officer should be thrown in prison
Evidence presented here states that the man was threatening OTHERS in the nursing home. No matter the age, if a man is threatening others he needs to stopped. Excessive force could be argued, but also the argument could be made that the force used was enough to stop this man from hurting others.
I hope the trial is fair, is all I can say. When media begins focusing on these stories, it really can alter the outcome and not always for the best. The Trayvon Martin case is a prime example of where media got involved and lied in some cases to further the story with actions that led to an unnecessary trial. This trial both a circus and a waste of taxpayer time and money.
It’s truly a shame that this man died under these circumstances, especially him being a veteran. However, he endangered others and was stopped. The officer should not be on trial unless there was supporting evidence of excessive force. There isn’t any. All we have is a media demonizing the police officer that had to perform a hard, life-changing duty to protect others. He did his job. Let him go home.
A black cop shoots a 95 year old white guy for threatening him with a shoehorn and his cane. Where are the marchers chanting “Whtie lives matter”, where is Sharpton inciting riots, where is Eric Holder starting civil rights investigations, , where is Obama saying this “could have been hmy Grandfather”.
