Top 8 Lies Liberals Assert About Illegal Immigration and Criminality

LIE #5  ILLEGAL ALIENS SPEND MOST OF THEIR MONEY IN THE UNITED STATES

It is a known fact that countless illegals send the bulk of their earnings (money that is being illegally earned, mind you) back to their home countries.  They work for a period of years, gathering a small fortune in their home country and then move back and retire to their vastly improved lifestyles.  Some who are discovered and deported only return later, but not before handing off their illegal IDs to the next illegal “cousin” to work in the exact same location.

There is a specific very large chain restaurant organization in the US that knowingly employs illegals in many states.  They receive these notification letters and management informs the illegals that their SSNs do not match their names and gives them a chance to retrieve the legal document.  That illegal will disappear completely and about a month or so later, another person shows up for a job in the same position whose name is the same, but claims to be a cousin of the other.  They are hired and the whole process begins again.  In the end, they may buy one, two or even three months of employment before another letter is received by the company.

In some cases, the new employee will even insist that you call them by a different name than what appears on the SS card!

In addition, all Americans are impacted by the fallout from illegal alien-driven document fraud and identity theft. Rather than spending their earnings in the United States and helping fuel the consumer-driven American economy, illegal workers minimize their expenditures in the United States so they can send billions of dollars back to their home countries. During a recessionary period, this transfer makes it all the more difficult to turn the economy around.

When the economy hits hard times and Americans and legal residents lose their jobs, illegal aliens can continue to work using their stolen identities and fraudulent documents. If an illegal alien who is laid off uses his fraudulent documents to obtain unemployment benefits, this drives up the cost of unemployment insurance. If an illegal alien is using an American’s SSN to obtain unemployment benefits, that citizen will be denied benefits that he or she is legally entitled to.
