The media has manufactured its latest controversy about the Trump campaign by blowing a heated altercation out of proportion.
News outlets have run wild today with footage of a reporter for Time magazine being knocked to the ground by a member of the Secret Service at a Trump rally. The implication is that the GOP frontrunner is running an aggressive campaign that brings out the worst in people and has potential to turn violent at any moment.
But as other videos documenting the series of events leading up to that incident attest, if anybody was violent, it was the reporter. Footage shows Morris getting unnecessarily close to the Secret Service agent, brushing up against him as if he were trying to push him out of the way. He is also clearly heard to say “f*ck you” to the agent.
But that’s not what people are seeing on the news: what they’re seeing is Morris lying on the floor as the agent stands over him, and they most certainly did not see what he did next.

This is even the full footage it starts out with the secret service member pushing the reporter by the throat the reporter responded in kind then got body slammed why do y’all assume that everything on Facebook is true why don’t y’all ever investigate the stories just because a military page posts it
Restraint
If you break the circle of a protectie… you will get removed ..anyway necessary!! Don’t wanna get hurt ..don’t enter the circle .. pretty simple
Trump is already creating more jobs and he isn’t even president yet. People getting paid to disrupt his rallies. Make America great again #TRUMP2016#
The agent was told by superior to move the perimeter, he told them to move, they refused. At that point, the secret service is authorized to use force to make you move, the reporter apparently did not understand this. The secret service agent moved him and then stepped forward, to thw approximate point that they wanted the perimeter set, at which point the reporter got mad and grabbed his throat.
Unlike regular LEO, the secret service is authorized to act proactively, and they are authorized deadly force if any threat is consider significant, even when the regular LEO would not be near sufficiently justified. They protect those in high office from assassination and harm, and they used to take the job seriously, though under this president, they have seemed to degrade a lot
Daniel Kinsman Apparently you didn’t see the recording of the incident. The reporter was grabbed by the throat and thrown to the floor, and after he got up he was yelling about being grabbed by the throat, and put his hand on the agent’s throat, but not forcefully. You apparently only saw the last few seconds.
Finally
So Ben, you think the SS just randomly picked someone out of a crowd of thousands to attack? Perhaps YOU should read the whole story. As multiple videos show the reporter repeatedly pushed & “wedged” his way in against the SS agent (journalists don’t follow official directions well). After several warnings the belligerent reporter began cursing the SS agent at which point he was deemed a “significant threat” & was taken down. Too many journalists today think they are exempt from following the law.
If have beat him down then had him arrested.
Good way for a reporter tobget arrested for assault, shot or be bànned from press conferences
