It’s not often that you hear someone from Hollywood speak sense, so when it does happen it’s best that we pay close attention.
In case anyone was unable to deduce where the vast majority of the film and entertainment industry’s sympathies lay, this year’s long, bitter election cycle made it very clear: they are almost entirely in the pocket of the Democratic Party. And while it’s certainly been no secret that stars like George Clooney, Leonardo DiCaprio and Cher are staunch liberals, it became much more apparent by the hysterical way they reacted to Donald Trump’s campaign for the presidency.
Instead of seeking to understand what motivated people to support Donald Trump, Hollywood decided to demonize their fellow Americans and accuse them of racism, sexism, and other forms of bigotry. Now that the election is over however, some brave voices are speaking out against the industry’s condescending liberalism.

Edda Smelansky. You too are listening to Bannon? Lol
What a tool.
Or should i say a fool.
Here is something.
For years now white middle class has been upset, angry, and even mad.
For what?
Why?
Please tell me why your mad?
What in gods name were you promise?
Trump?
He will not make 2 years.
Wait until he pulls Putin in to the realm.
Once that happens. His$#%&!@*will be out of the Whitehouse in lighting speed.
Hang on to Pence.
The GOP is waiting to hang Trump out to dry.
They realized that Trump policy is a road to political suicide.
Mark my word. Trumps greatest enemies outside of himself are those whom he thinks that’s on his side.
Barbara Real Garry I heard they are harder than ours and their prime minister lectures the US about theirs…
Is that hag still around?
I understand what you are saying Danielle, especially about learning to talk to each other in a civil and respectful way. Where we will have to disagree is about Trump. Yes he is trying to keep some of his campaign promises, but those promises are the exact reason I voted against him. I have a much different vision for America than he and perhaps you have. Be it the wall, or the ban, or the environment, or education policy, or health care, etc, etc. So, I will work for what I believe in but will do so in a non- violent way. There is one statement you made that I do take issue with. You suggests that trump is reasonable enough to listen to fears and concerns….. Nothing in any of his statements suggests that is true….. Anyone who opposes him gets attacked sometimes viciously. One day it is a political opponent, one day Meryl Streep, the next day congressman Lewis, then the presidents of Mexico and Australia , then federal judges. It is a never ending barrage of bullying and meanness that is unbefitting of any president. There is nothing reasonable about these behaviors. So I do not support him and will work to ensure that he is a one term president.
