It’s not often that you hear someone from Hollywood speak sense, so when it does happen it’s best that we pay close attention.
In case anyone was unable to deduce where the vast majority of the film and entertainment industry’s sympathies lay, this year’s long, bitter election cycle made it very clear: they are almost entirely in the pocket of the Democratic Party. And while it’s certainly been no secret that stars like George Clooney, Leonardo DiCaprio and Cher are staunch liberals, it became much more apparent by the hysterical way they reacted to Donald Trump’s campaign for the presidency.
Instead of seeking to understand what motivated people to support Donald Trump, Hollywood decided to demonize their fellow Americans and accuse them of racism, sexism, and other forms of bigotry. Now that the election is over however, some brave voices are speaking out against the industry’s condescending liberalism.

What was Trump lying about, Jim?
I didn’t like his show at first, found it kind of boring. But I have it another shot and it’s actually quite entertaining. I love that he is not afraid to carry his beliefs into his workplace. I still don’t think celebrities opinions are any more important than yours or mine, but it takes grit to be a celebrity on the right.
Danielle, there is no question that there is too much hate on both sides. But don’t say the republicans are guiltless either. Have you seen the pictures of Obama hung in effigy. Have you followed the birthed controversy. I could go on but there is too much rhetoric and anger on both sides. I think we can agree on this. I do not support trump but will work within the bounds of the law to oppose him. Hopefully others will do the same. As far as the wall is concerned, we will have to disagree. I am not going to get into all the reasons why, but walling ourselves off at a cost of at least 10 billion dollars is not the best answer. While we may disagree on many things, at least we are talking, american to american. We all need to keep doing that, because if we stop talking and become more aggressive towards each other we are screwed.

They also THINK they are the ones who got Obama elected…..However the fix was already in with the Soros programmed voting machines & no accountability for 8 years.
Hollywood had absolutely nothing to do with his win, but they’re all so arrogant that you could never make them believe it.
Peter Myer I completely agree that the right also has their haters, though the physical action that came from that side pales in comparison to the Left. To oppose and protest in order for Washington to hear your concerns and views is one thing, but the violence and hatred is not the way to be heard. It only spawns and fuels more violence and hatred.
I do not oppose the wall. Will it come at a big cost? Absolutely. But taken into account the amount of taxpayer dollars that went to fund vacations, shopping sprees and golf outings. The amount of money donated in disaster relief funds. The amount of money spent shielding immigrants already here illegally. And so on, that our former POTUS spent. I’d say its about even.
The wall isn’t meant to cut us off from the outside world. It’s to ensure that those coming here do it the proper way. So that we know who they are, what they’re intentions are, etc. I am not a racist. I would welcome anyone to join us here, so long as their intent is to come here for the opportunity of a better future for themselves and their family. That is the “American dream” after all. Safety, prosperity and freedom.
It’s those that sneak in undetected to fill our streets and schools with drugs, guns and violence. Those that seek to blow up our churches and force us to adapt to their ways. It’s not racist to expect anyone who chooses to migrate here to respect our culture and follow our laws. Those who would rather behead us in the streets, those who would torture and throw someone off of a rooftop simply for being gay, those who would abuse and defile a girl or a woman because they believe it is their right to do so…those people are the ones the Wall is meant to keep out.
Did I vote for Trump? Yes. Did I do so because I agreed with everything he’s said or done? No. Do I agree with everything he’s doing or intends to do? Probably not. Will I support him because he is my president? Yes. But I will also watch, listen and hold him accountable for any missteps. Just as I’ve done for every POTUS before him.
The large majority of us that voted for him did so because we are tired of seeing America put last by our own government. Trump was our protest, and we made our point. We are not going quietly, we are done being told what is best for us, what is best for everyone. We are done watching our country drown with people who disrespect and hate us. We made our point, but obviously we still have not been heard.
Enough already with this article.
Career politicians make their millions off citizens trump made his the old fashion way, he earned it
Glenn Johns, if he ran on the dem ticket he would be the best thing the world has ever seen, and you know what?, I AGAIN would have voted for him. I am very glad he did not, because now my eyes have been opened to all the actors, businesses, politicians, etc. that have shown me what hateful bigots they are and given me the opportunity of bigger and better choices then what I have been making!
Trump for the people, if you would give him a chance you will see that. We gave Obama Husain, a chance and he did nothing but pay Iran billions to not kill us.
