These sheriffs are spineless chic hi
A sheriff has jurisdiction county wide not statwide
I just cant believe…how long will it take to get this mess straightened out after Obama
You are correct Mark Gordon, the state police have jurisdiction throughout the state, but. The elected sheriff of each county in that state has authority over a state police, in his county. Same as the sheriff has power and authority over any other state or federal government agent, or agency.
To understand this, we need to know where the power comes from.
1: We The People have all the power.
2: We The people deligate temporary power to our local elected officials.
3: we the people elect state officials and also deligate temporary powers to them.
4: we do the same with our federal government.
As the power of We The People is moved farther from us, it has less authority and power.
This is why our local elected county sheriff has more authority and power than the state police, or FBI, CIA,FDA,ATF..etc
Here is an awesome resource for learning about our Constitution.

When I was in the indoctrination camp, they taught us that the Federal government had ALL the power, then the state was given some power by the federal government, then the federal and state governments gave we the people very limited rights and freedoms.
The Clinton’s are finished. Now Go home and fix your marriage that you should have fixed years ago.
Go get him.
The Sheriffs should just take the legal action they deem as necessary and answer for it later. Say, after Barry leaves office.
