Texas Senator John Cornyn might be a Republican from a deep-red state, but he doesn’t seem to know much about the average Trump supporter.
Trump was popular for several reasons: He promised to get tough on illegal immigration, he promised to restore law and order to the United States, and he promised to build the wall.
The wall, in particular, might be DonaldĀ Trump’s most popular policy. Trump certainly seemed to think so. While on the campaign trail, Trump confessed that he would circle back to “the wall” whenever his speeches lingered off-topic for too long.
But Senator Cornyn doesn’t seem to think the wall is that important. In fact, he thinks that the people of Texas — who voted overwhelmingly for Trump — don’t want a wall at all.
It’s an odd statement coming from a representative of the nation’s largest border state.
Watch him argue that Trump supporters don’t actually want a wall on the next page:
Yes we do!!!
You are full of$#%&!@*dumbass
Yes we do want the wall. We want Obamacare repealed and replaced. We want Congress to do their job, they ran on these promises now they haven’t done what they said they would do. Still more lies. They want to take more of the taxpayers money and spend it like they want instead of letting us keep our hard money.
Speak for yourself but not for Trump voters & supporters – we want the wall & we want the immigration problems fixed.
Vote out all incumbents
John Cornyn you had better get your head out of your$#%&!@*and Build that wall!! or start looking for a new job!
Do what dude? Obviously you have not asked your constituents!!!
He is crazy.
Yes we do
