Now that the Islamic State has become a global terror powerhouse, many Muslim leaders have been forced to defend the Islamic faith and denounce the practice of Jihad. But some mosque leaders in Texas appear unwilling to do so.
In May of 2014, an Islamic tribunal in Texas was discovered practicing Sharia law. In response, the Texas legislature passed a bill that outlawed the practice in the Lone Star State.
Last month, a Texas lawmaker sent a questionnaire to Islamic leaders in Texas asking for their opinion on such laws. Their response — if you can call it that — was less than satisfactory. While a commitment to protect Muslims from harm from radical members of their own faith seems uncontroversial, the Islamic leaders refused to commit.
See what the Islamic Leaders had to say about the request on the next page:
They never will denounce it. And they wonder why they’re not wanted here
I’d like to know how they responded, but there’s the issue of that next button. My thumbs just won’t click it.
They could when you think about taqiyya. They can lie about anything they want so long as it helps push their agenda.
Those wouldn’t be muslims either
Nothing speaks peace like a “get to know us,” with a hint of a threat.
You mean the ones who truly fled from Sharia law?
If any of you “Patriots,” knew a muslim, or dozens of them as I do you would know one truth. 99.9999 of all Muslims hate Sharia law. You “Patriots,” just fear it.
Moronic.
Why are they asking? There is no debate! This is the United States of America. Not the middle East, Conform to our laws or get out!
Everything you’ve stated Jana Stamm is also in the Constitution if Anyone Individual or group with that Intention Can be Banned from America Permanently .. The McCuran Immigration act of 1952.
