Texas Republican Rep. Brian Babin has introduced a bill into Congress that would halt the resettlement of refugees in the country until a thorough assessment of the costs and dangers of the process is conducted.
Babin drafted the Resettlement Accountability National Security Act in response to the Obama administration’s desire to expand America’s refugee program — a program the lawmaker believes is fundamentally flawed. Babin’s comments on the next page:

Cynthia we need people to come to this country legally not illegally and then work to pay for their existence. There are so many people on welfare, free food stamps, housing, etc. I am sick of it. These refugees need to fight for their country, why are there only men coming across, where are their families, all I see on TV are young strapping men stampeding authorities and causing fights. They appear to be very aggressive towards the countries that are accepting them. Do you want refugees in our country that do not want to adhere to our laws and rules, I do not want to live under sharia law do you?
