The Dickson County School District in Tennessee banned the Confederate flag amid the recent controversy, but then went ahead and banned all flags – including the Stars and Stripes.
The Dickson County Director of Student Services Steve Sorrells has no qualms about this stunning decision and firmly stands by it.

Take away all the state and federal aid
If our Flag isn’t good enough, then fund your own County. Heads need to roll.
Baloney! What’s wrong with this district, BANNING the flag?
Wtf is that. Well withhold federal money then.
Not patriotic? The one true symbol of American freedom, independence, and values is not welcome in this school district. Yet, I’m sure they’re willing to accept funding from the country represented by that symbol. Deny funding! Period!! If they can’t show patriotism to service people that sacrificed the ultimate, they aren’t allowed to spend patriot dollars.
Unpatriotic as it comes this man needs to go and if not all federal funds should be withheld
This school is disgusting and disrespectful! No more funding for them! Taxpayers should not foot the bill for a school this blatantly disrespectful
