The Dickson County School District in Tennessee banned the Confederate flag amid the recent controversy, but then went ahead and banned all flags – including the Stars and Stripes.
The Dickson County Director of Student Services Steve Sorrells has no qualms about this stunning decision and firmly stands by it.

Tennessee of all states, that’s hard to believe they would cave to the unpatriotic people. Cut off school funding until the flag is back up.
How is is it not unpatriotic when you don’t present our country’s flag, the flag that represents the freedoms that Americans have today because of the sacrifices of those who came before us.
To not raise our flag, to not fly it proudly, to not present it properly is disrespectful ….. and if you are teaching that same disrespect to our children then you don’t belong in a school, or if you are that un-American perhaps not on American soil either.
Shut the school down!!!!
Its time to take back the education system and remove liberal teachers and professors. The federal government has no business in the education system. Turn education back over to the states. This up coming generation is so liberally indoctrinated they don’t even know their constitutional rights. They are not taught history anymore. This is a dangerous precedent to have uneducated people. How do you know if your rights are being taken away if you don’t know what they are.
They should be fired
Then no federal aid
Never thought we would ever see a southern state that would do this defund the school and fire the one responsible
You want be there long
It’s a moronic act.
Should not be allowed to do this you live in AMERICA.
