The Dickson County School District in Tennessee banned the Confederate flag amid the recent controversy, but then went ahead and banned all flags – including the Stars and Stripes.
The Dickson County Director of Student Services Steve Sorrells has no qualms about this stunning decision and firmly stands by it.

Oh yes it is, this is THE UNITED STTES ofAMERICA. You people are liberal idiots
I believe that the American flag should be flown in all public locations as part of being a proud American. I do not think that this decision was meant to be unpatriotic. I believe it was done to protest the forced removal of the Confederate Flag. The south is proud of its heritage though some may not like the idea. The Confederate Flag is a part of the south’s history and has been for years. I think this is simply one district’s way of saying “If we can’t fly both flags, we will not fly any”
PS- i am not from the south, but I respect their heritage.
Not an unpatriotic act? Yea i guess your right… Its a wus act. Come on this is the USA and we are letting people change it until it will no longer be recognizable as the US of America!!!
Bill shot ! Fire that superintendant

Liberalism is a dangerous mental disorder.

If Trump is elected, thank God his plan is to get rid of the Dept. of Education. States will just have to do their own pedaling for funds within their boundaries.
