The Dickson County School District in Tennessee banned the Confederate flag amid the recent controversy, but then went ahead and banned all flags – including the Stars and Stripes.
The Dickson County Director of Student Services Steve Sorrells has no qualms about this stunning decision and firmly stands by it.

How can they ban our flag? What the he_ _ is wrong with people????
Ban the administrators
Get your head out of your butt! Both the American flag and the confederate flag are part of American History. You teach history, you do not bury it!
If true this is absolutely unpatriotic! The kids should be saying the pledge of allegiance everyday!
I just don’t understand how a school district could remove the american flag. They are in america. Duh. They should not give in to people “offended” by it. If the offended doesn’t like the american flag, then they don’t like America. If they don’t like America then they should leave. Either ignore these people (since they have no say), or remove these people (since they are guests and have no respect for America). Either way, Deborah is right. This people in this school system should stand up for our rights, not change because of non americans demands. We true americans will fight for our rights.
If you don’t stand for the American Flag then you an enemy of the USA.
We need pro-Americans back in that school. Time to get rid of the current administration.

Ignorance is running wild within the school’s system. Bring back hanging in the town square. I’ll bet that may change a few attitudes really quicky after seeing those hanging for several days. Just saying U want change, here it is.
That is ridiculous first they take God out of the schools they best not take the American flag out of schools because we are the United States not another country
