A jury decided last year that the owner of a small organic farm, Shellie Smith, still owes $4000 after a raid by SWAT that destroyed her farm.
Garden of Eden, a small organic in Arlington, Texas, was the target of a SWAT raid in 10-hour long search with Smith being held at gunpoint at one point.
Arlington police dept. stated that there were complaints of marijuana being grown on the premises, but none was found on the property. Instead, law enforcement confiscated 17 blackberry bushes, 15 okra plants, 14 tomatillo plants, native grasses and sunflowers.

Where is the search warrant?
That makes blueberries cost about 1000 dollar each. This administration wants you to buy Mexican grown.
How can an American do this to another?
Why?
Going in and simply destroying someone’s business, without actual proof that there was something illegal going on, used to be against the law. It is frightening and sad, that this government is doing this kind of thing and getting away with it ! I know there have been sinilar accounts of this happening in Florida who simply wanted to grow their own food, on their own land, and they were told they could not have a garden in their front or back yard , suppossedly due to some new zoning laws that have become effective ! Things are going to hell in a hand basket, and doing it very quickly !
yea why
We all know how dangerous those blue-berries are.
Oh yes, we have terrorists running loose in this country, and the government sends swat after blueberry farmers. I guess next they’ll send a marine division after gun owners.
After reading this I have deducted that this was the dumbest, idiotic operation I have ever read about? God save Texas!
