A jury decided last year that the owner of a small organic farm, Shellie Smith, still owes $4000 after a raid by SWAT that destroyed her farm.
Garden of Eden, a small organic in Arlington, Texas, was the target of a SWAT raid in 10-hour long search with Smith being held at gunpoint at one point.
Arlington police dept. stated that there were complaints of marijuana being grown on the premises, but none was found on the property. Instead, law enforcement confiscated 17 blackberry bushes, 15 okra plants, 14 tomatillo plants, native grasses and sunflowers.

I commend the courage of our daring heros who managed to overcome a farmer. That took real guts. I wonder how many tomatores were destroyed in this fierce battle. No doubt they were enemies of the state. Hopefully the streets ran with tomato juice.
Find this extremely difficult to believe….courageous police officers/SWAT teams would not do this….show me proof!
There you have the hitler regime!
obama want a war and these idiots are triger happy now you see why so many are killed
We can confiscate blueberries with a Swat team, but can’t put them on our borders! Obama’s priorities are worse than an idiot’s!
Sad
Sounds more like “Justification for Existence” to have SWAT respond to Code Violations. Whatever happened to Code Enforcement Officers, who are “regular” police officers, in their usual uniform and just talking to the resident(s) about the Code problem?
This is the begining of Martial law. Get ready to have everything confiscated. Won’t be long now….
I have black berries, am I next.
those evil vile blueberry’s will do it everytime. WTF are these Nazis doing this is a joke right?
