A jury decided last year that the owner of a small organic farm, Shellie Smith, still owes $4000 after a raid by SWAT that destroyed her farm.
Garden of Eden, a small organic in Arlington, Texas, was the target of a SWAT raid in 10-hour long search with Smith being held at gunpoint at one point.
Arlington police dept. stated that there were complaints of marijuana being grown on the premises, but none was found on the property. Instead, law enforcement confiscated 17 blackberry bushes, 15 okra plants, 14 tomatillo plants, native grasses and sunflowers.

Take them to court people we have to get this stopped now fight back
We cannot have a criminal like that on the loose those stupid f***
Oh yea! There is nothing more exciting to these military wanna bees than to ride on an armored assault vehicle with their automatic weapons and confiscate those drug laced “blueberry plants! Too much authority is given to the police over life and death. Too bad the state of Texas has so many thugs on the force. I bet they stay the hell out of the Mexican neighborhood in their city. It seems that the 2nd American Revolution that was talked about as a joke, may not be so funny after all. I mean “blueberries” come on!
This is just wrong. What lies were told to the jury.
I thought the great state of Texas was a shining beacon of light for freedom in this country? Sounds like just another police state to me.
…and kids wonder what communism is, well anyone who has them or works with kids, please tell them this is communism or bettet yet give examples of it esle where then what is going on here and ask them how AMERICA has turned this way.
