A jury decided last year that the owner of a small organic farm, Shellie Smith, still owes $4000 after a raid by SWAT that destroyed her farm.
Garden of Eden, a small organic in Arlington, Texas, was the target of a SWAT raid in 10-hour long search with Smith being held at gunpoint at one point.
Arlington police dept. stated that there were complaints of marijuana being grown on the premises, but none was found on the property. Instead, law enforcement confiscated 17 blackberry bushes, 15 okra plants, 14 tomatillo plants, native grasses and sunflowers.

just another way for the government to controll us where is our freedom our rights to grow our own food this is no free country or this would not be happening
We are now living in a Police State. It is only getting worst.
Outrageous for things such as this happening in US
cops. swat teams. our police forces are too stupid to be this militarized.
How many crack houses did they drive by before they put an end to evil blueberry trade infesting our poor children?
With how many thugs and ACTUAL low-life drug dealers that are roaming around the dfw, y’all target a self sufficient small farm woman?! Sounds like they’re scared of facing REAL criminals so they’re gettin it in where they can. Practicing tactics on the weak? Police like this need to be further investigated themselves as far as I’m concerned.. weak, unhonorable & downright embarrassing to law enforcement who ACTUALLY work and fight in order to rid these streets of crime.. not police writing minor speeding/ parking tickets & raiding organic community farmers.
WHO are you protecting? WHO are you serving?
sue for your plants and etc…..get ag involved
wtf
Modern day Gestapo and nothing more.
$#%&!@*sucking faggots!
