A jury decided last year that the owner of a small organic farm, Shellie Smith, still owes $4000 after a raid by SWAT that destroyed her farm.
Garden of Eden, a small organic in Arlington, Texas, was the target of a SWAT raid in 10-hour long search with Smith being held at gunpoint at one point.
Arlington police dept. stated that there were complaints of marijuana being grown on the premises, but none was found on the property. Instead, law enforcement confiscated 17 blackberry bushes, 15 okra plants, 14 tomatillo plants, native grasses and sunflowers.

just so wrong
We Know Where They Live
So, if I don’t like someone I just complain that they are raising pot or doing meth maybe they painted their house without the local HOAs permission.. Then the local Waffen SS SWAT team comes, probably shoots their dogs, harasses them for 10 hours, almost certainly destroys their property and if the SWAT team members took too much steroids that day they will probably just kill the guy who pissed me off because I don’t like the type of tree he planted. Is this a great country or what? (Well it once was a great country)
Wait, SHE owes $4k??? This can’t be true.. has anyone fact-checked this story… or packed up and moved to South America to get away from where the Good O’l USA is heading?
We are now living in a police state. It is truly the HEAVY hand of the law.
When will we stop this ?
When We Start Defending Ourselves And The People Stick Together To Do It
It gets worse every day when will we wake up
Even here in Texas, the Police State rears it’s ugly head.
This same thing happened to someone I knew in FL, who was starting a small fish farm (selling Tilapia to local restaurants), they destroyed his business, property and confiscated some of his major equipment (they said for evidence), saying he was growing marijuana, destroyed his property and harassed him, to the point that he couldn’t recover, it put him out of business. There was no follow up and none of his equipment was returned, or apologies given. Guess who got the property…the bank.
