A jury decided last year that the owner of a small organic farm, Shellie Smith, still owes $4000 after a raid by SWAT that destroyed her farm.
Garden of Eden, a small organic in Arlington, Texas, was the target of a SWAT raid in 10-hour long search with Smith being held at gunpoint at one point.
Arlington police dept. stated that there were complaints of marijuana being grown on the premises, but none was found on the property. Instead, law enforcement confiscated 17 blackberry bushes, 15 okra plants, 14 tomatillo plants, native grasses and sunflowers.

SWAT team for a FARM? Texas is getting as ridiculous as California.
Whoever ordered this search and confiscation of these plants, may they be visited by the purging of their bowels, the next time they eat from any of like plants they confiscated. Everything’s backwards. It used to be innocent until proven guilty.
We must stop killer blueberries….
Like I said in another post. This is pre war Nazi Germany all over again.
They should take the police & swat team to court to re-coop their losses.
I’m usualy 90% on the side of law enforcement, but this “smacks’ of big brother.Unjust to “sease anyones property after thay found no real drugs.
Shellie, send a bill of $4000 to the government for the feeding of the SWAT team, as you oould have sold the blueberries for a profit to pay off that questionable bill. Thiis action is called a hostile take over, get a great attorney ready with paper work to sue and do it now while you still own the farm. Thousands lost their farms, now Conagra stands supreme.
Hell, $4,000 why not go after the over 4 million Sharpton owes ????
Hmmm never heard of “Death by Blueberry” before
Blueberries what the f*** in the meantime Isis is beheading people. we are f*****
