A jury decided last year that the owner of a small organic farm, Shellie Smith, still owes $4000 after a raid by SWAT that destroyed her farm.
Garden of Eden, a small organic in Arlington, Texas, was the target of a SWAT raid in 10-hour long search with Smith being held at gunpoint at one point.
Arlington police dept. stated that there were complaints of marijuana being grown on the premises, but none was found on the property. Instead, law enforcement confiscated 17 blackberry bushes, 15 okra plants, 14 tomatillo plants, native grasses and sunflowers.

BWAHAHAHAHAHAHA! Maybe the cheif needed to make pie! Lol!
Watch the video, they orininally raided the place for marijuana, not the Berry’s. In some cases a swat team is necessary, based historical events.
Really??
They’re not wearing all black like ISIS. Obama won’t like that….
Why would she owe anyone anything! The way I read it, they took her LEGAL plants from the farm. Why did the jury say she still owes money. There has to be more to this story than is reported in this article. But I guess if you told the whole story it might make sense and you don’t want to do that, because it would not look like a conspiracy to everyone else.
Not the blueberries! Those evil evil blueberries! Next they’ll be testing you to see if you have blueberries in your system.
Why doesn’t IRS go after Al Sharpton….he owes over 4 Million!!!!!!!!!!
This woman had a farm in a residential area where the Zoning does not permit it. maybe she should have bought property in an area that allows it. The SWAT thing had to do with false allegation of Marijauna being grown there. probably neighbor ratted her out because she was an annoying neighbor.
Meanwhile, Cliven Bundy is laughing
How about terrorist camps instead of blueberry farms. Ridiculous!
