The Supreme Court has just given law enforcement the right to enter one’s home without a warrant.
In a 6-3 decision, Justice Alito penned that, “When occupants of a residents disagree on whether they will admit police without a warrant, the objecting occupant must be physically present. That doesn’t change if police have removed the objector,” Read page 2 for background on the case and ruling.
What country do I live in now?
Supreme Court can not make laws —- Protect yourself and your property
Then why don’t they do it to the White House and arrest the man for treason.
Very unconstitutional
No warrant I defend my home.
We must be at war
Not in my house, I promise.
This ruling was based in one occupant beating the hell out of his significant other. In which case the law has always been on the side of the battered person. Police have been doing this for some time. However what the court has done is opened it up for further violating a persons 4th amendment rights. I just hope I’m sitting on the jury when a cop busts through someone’s home and the home owner blows him away. That guy is getting a pass. The right to self defense doesn’t end when the person busting through your door has a uniform on.
In direct violation of the constitution.
ther ehad better be exigent circumstances….
