The Supreme Court has just given law enforcement the right to enter one’s home without a warrant.
In a 6-3 decision, Justice Alito penned that, “When occupants of a residents disagree on whether they will admit police without a warrant, the objecting occupant must be physically present. That doesn’t change if police have removed the objector,” Read page 2 for background on the case and ruling.
Kick down my door and deal with the lead poisoning.
Since when!
A lot more dead and/or maimed cops coming soon .
Not in my house.
Police State ? enter without warrants? What the F–K ?
i dont think its such a good idea to keep putting cops in definate danger.it should be their choice.if the supreme court dont like it let them climb down off their perch and storm in
Ok but enjoy the lead poisoning.
Not mine!!!!!
Don’t get too worked up Eric. Police still need “consent” to enter without a warrant. The article is misleading. I am very familiar with this case and this article is just trying to get people jacked up. Rest assured the 4th amendment is still intact and no one will be entering your house anytime soon.
One of the occupants allowed the entry, the one that was in custody denied it, that’s all it was.
