Our Supreme Court gave police a easy means to enter your home without a warrant earlier this year – as long as one occupant agrees.
Judge Napolitano states, “The police can arrest the person who says ‘no’ [to the search], get him off the scene and they are left with the person saying ‘yes’ and use that as a means to get on the property.”
MORE PAGE 2:
If there is no exigent emergency, then the police should have to get a warrant. The police cannot just walk in and search for things that might be illegal.
Sick, sick, sick!
since I live alone….thats not likely to happen….
They will have to break into my house to arrest me and that could be a real problem to the first criminal that might attempt such a foolhardy act on my property.
Amen Rusty walk on in I got a surprise for you and it goes boom
Disagree !!
And thats all we can do !
yes they r. All Dumbama’s fault. What if the person that says yes doesn’t live there? How would that work? I would believe that if somebody is visiting and doesn’t live there it would be wrong? I would like to know the fine gray line on that part or hasn’t it been takwn into consideration ubtil it happens? Way to go asswipes in cali. supreme court. Glad I don’t live there.
