Kendra Turner, 17, of Dyersburg, Tennessee was suspended because she said ‘bless you’ to another student who sneezed.
It seems that the teacher has a list of words you can’t say in class, and ‘bless you’ is on the list. The teacher told the Turner “Now we will not have godly speaking in my class.”

For all the Americans who thought this could never happen in your little town, here it is!You think being a Christian means you just cower in a corner and pray? How is that working out for you? It’s time to wake up and stand up!
It has gone to far now, get our prayers back in the schools and everything we had back in the day pasted. You have gone to far with our beliefs. Time to go back to them.
I guess the teacher would have rather the girl to the other student to go f… herself. That would probably be acceptable. This person previous to me Ron Mitchell {no relation, thank GOD} is an idiot. A lefty for sure. WAKE UP PEOPLE!!!
find that hard to believe …. media fame stunt
This is outrages the only reason this atheist cares is she wants to push her agenda what ever happened to free speech and manners
Government (including schools) shall not infringe upon the freedom of speech, press, or religion.
WOW…
Ridiculous
I would drop out of that school or get a Christian lawyer to have that teacher removed from the school system!
‘Guess it’s time to learn to pronounce “Gesundheit”…
Gesundheit [(guh- zoont -heyt)]
German for “good health.” Like the English phrase “Bless you,” it is conventionally said to someone who has just sneezed. This reflects the superstition that a sneeze can cause the soul to fly out of the body; saying the phrase prevents this from happening.
