Kendra Turner, 17, of Dyersburg, Tennessee was suspended because she said ‘bless you’ to another student who sneezed.
It seems that the teacher has a list of words you can’t say in class, and ‘bless you’ is on the list. The teacher told the Turner “Now we will not have godly speaking in my class.”

Hear hear! We have freedom of speech in this country I thought. The teacher is also free to voice her opinion about not wanting to hear any godly talk in her class.
Everyone has the right to say what they want… and then other people have the right to think about what you said and say “That’s f**king stupid”
I sure hope someone sits that teacher down and goes over what is allowed and not allowed. If anything the slightest bit ‘godly’ is verboten it makes me wonder what is OK?
The teacher should be fired. She has no business teaching anyone much less kids. These parents should bring suit against her.
