Kendra Turner, 17, of Dyersburg, Tennessee was suspended because she said ‘bless you’ to another student who sneezed.
It seems that the teacher has a list of words you can’t say in class, and ‘bless you’ is on the list. The teacher told the Turner “Now we will not have godly speaking in my class.”

ok wait a minute she said bless you not God bless you. Anyone with any kind of manners says bless you. I guess the teacher has no manners at all. the parents need to take this to court and fight it because unless people start to stand up then be prepared for more of this to happen
The “TEACHER” needs to be FIRED!!!! Student showed compassion, Teacher showed stupidity and ignorance!

The administrator and the teacher have a major problem!! There was no mention of God in her sentence at all…. When did it become against the rules to bless someone? We have been saying that for years, now.. with so many people against God in this world, the children are being disgraced to use this simple term meant as a curtsey only… God help us!! We need to protect our children now from the teachers as they project false messages! Home schooling seems inevitable for anyone who believes in God!!
