Kendra Turner, 17, of Dyersburg, Tennessee was suspended because she said ‘bless you’ to another student who sneezed.
It seems that the teacher has a list of words you can’t say in class, and ‘bless you’ is on the list. The teacher told the Turner “Now we will not have godly speaking in my class.”

No matter how you guys want to spin it, public schools are no place for personal Ideology. I don’t think this story is true, (no one is dumb enough to put themselves in this spotlight), but “it’s on facebook” so lets pretend it is.
The time for christians (mainly the new creationists and evangelicals) to give up bigotry and start acting like the bible teaches you is here. This is not a country under god. It is a country with 400 million people that have hundreds of beliefs. Roughly 70% “say” they are christian. I would guess that means at least 30% actually are (by actions). If I don’t like junk food it doesn’t give you the right to force feed me into diabetes.
