Kendra Turner, 17, of Dyersburg, Tennessee was suspended because she said ‘bless you’ to another student who sneezed.
It seems that the teacher has a list of words you can’t say in class, and ‘bless you’ is on the list. The teacher told the Turner “Now we will not have godly speaking in my class.”

This has become ridiculous. Saying Bless you is not only courteous it shows good manners.
Kendra did not say: “GOD BLESS YOU” and everyone knows that – there is a GOD.
This is probably not true, but in the internet world stupid people jump on everything they can find to complain about. I wish some people would read and think about what they type before posting. It might make you realize how completely unintelligent some of these posts are.
I’m a liberal. We agree on almost everything. But a lot of you are so blinded by your hate for the purpose of hate to actually care about the issues you are complaining about. As long as you have an outlet for your pent up anger due to an unhappy life? I don’t know. Grow up. The world is moving on without you. Soon you will find yourself alone in a world of liberals, because hate and bigotry are a thing of the past.

The teacher says “no Godly speaking in my class”. Is she, therefore, encouraging “ungodly” speaking?

Parents sue the heifer! Saying Bless You is like saying thank you, good manners. This teacher is obviously mentally unfit to teach children.
