Kendra Turner, 17, of Dyersburg, Tennessee was suspended because she said ‘bless you’ to another student who sneezed.
It seems that the teacher has a list of words you can’t say in class, and ‘bless you’ is on the list. The teacher told the Turner “Now we will not have godly speaking in my class.”

But it’s ok to swear I use to work at a highschool and in the hallway with teachers around kids are walking by and swearing foul langauge not one got in trouble and they do this everyday! But say something good (bless you)and your in trouble! Makes lots of sense.
