Kendra Turner, 17, of Dyersburg, Tennessee was suspended because she said ‘bless you’ to another student who sneezed.
It seems that the teacher has a list of words you can’t say in class, and ‘bless you’ is on the list. The teacher told the Turner “Now we will not have godly speaking in my class.”

Idiots like that don’t deserve to be teaching.Let alone have the say so to suspend a student’s right to learn they are there to teach not decide what people can believe.

Id give the teacher a list of things id will say God Bless you and the Pledge thats what’s wrong there not said anymore

I agree with the dude that said bout the money. This country wS built on God. I went to school we recited the pledge and then we prayed.
I taught for over 36 years, and comparing “bless you” with some of the vulgar trash I witnessed coming from the trash mouths in and around campus, I really doubt “bless you” is so terrible. This teacher should stay home, out of the classroom.
