Kendra Turner, 17, of Dyersburg, Tennessee was suspended because she said ‘bless you’ to another student who sneezed.
It seems that the teacher has a list of words you can’t say in class, and ‘bless you’ is on the list. The teacher told the Turner “Now we will not have godly speaking in my class.”

I’m an atheist and I see nothing wrong with saying bless you. In fact people can say whatever they feel in regards to their religious beliefs as long as they don’t try to convert me I’ll not do the same for them. Just everybody live in peace and allow each other to follow their own beliefs
The teacher must not believe in God and has no business teaching, she is absolutely wrong, this is what is wrong in the world, they took God out of the classroom and many students would behave better if they learn the word of God. When this happens students hate the teacher and they won’t try to learn. I would remove that child from her classroom and other parents might as well do the same. Then that teacher is no longer needed, she will be out of a job.
