Kendra Turner, 17, of Dyersburg, Tennessee was suspended because she said ‘bless you’ to another student who sneezed.
It seems that the teacher has a list of words you can’t say in class, and ‘bless you’ is on the list. The teacher told the Turner “Now we will not have godly speaking in my class.”

Ok why get suspended for saying “bless you” it wasn’t like the young lady was forcing her religion on anyone else she was been a nice young lady. This is what is wrong with the world today. I can understand freedom of religion but she also has freedom of speech. The teacher was in the wrong not the student.

And my son has a filthy mouthed atheist teacher that gets away with using Gods name.. Just not in a good way… Sickening!

I guess courtesy has become a thing of the past. I will continue to say Bless you whenever I feel like it. My parents taught me to be civil and have respect for everyone.
The damn teacher needs to be “FIRED”. What in the hell is this country coming to.
Maybe she should have said “ALA bless you and it would have been ok”. You can tell that school is sure as hell not worried about a child’s education especially a rare one with manors.
That teacher like all other non believers need to leave (believers) God fearing people alone, and if they don’t like it they need to move out of our One Nation under God !
