Kendra Turner, 17, of Dyersburg, Tennessee was suspended because she said ‘bless you’ to another student who sneezed.
It seems that the teacher has a list of words you can’t say in class, and ‘bless you’ is on the list. The teacher told the TurnerĀ “Now we will not have godly speaking in my class.”

smh
Just a Southern saying, nothing to do with religion

This is sad our world got this bad shame on all of us for allowing it to happen !!! I hope this teacher is exposed to the max!! And people in her community know how she feels!! Sad!!
HERE’S THE REAL STORY THAT YOU DIDN’T HEAR ON FOX:
According to school officials, Turner was being disruptive in yelling “bless you” across the classroom. (Not following the rules?) The outburst came after some student told their pastor that this teacher was “demeaning” about their Christian faith. According to the principal, Turner was told to keep quiet after she responded to the sneeze. She took this as an affront to her faith and “the situation escalated.” The principals states that Turner was NOT, as she claims on Facebook, sent out of the classroom, NOT given a suspension, and was NOT punished. She was, however, admonished for being disruptive and when this happened she ran out of the room.
I would have to read the report and talk to everyone involved before I believe anything
Was the student suspended for sneezing and inciting this disruption?
