Kendra Turner, 17, of Dyersburg, Tennessee was suspended because she said ‘bless you’ to another student who sneezed.
It seems that the teacher has a list of words you can’t say in class, and ‘bless you’ is on the list. The teacher told the Turner “Now we will not have godly speaking in my class.”

bad for that teacher and the person who made the list of words by the way God bless you
What is wrong with this country? Has this teacher not read the “Bill of Rights”? We are in America aren’t we?
It is a shame that teachers make a list like this to start with, Sweet heart you don’t stop Blessing anyone and God Bless you….
Oh good grief Rawbert Frank Tapia!! It’s not like she brought a Bible in and was trying to preach!! You sir need prayers! Bless you is something a kind person says and we have all been taught to say it!! This is ridiculous and I don’t see how it was disruptive! Bless you Rawburt and I will add u to my prayers 🙂
Teachers shouldn’t be able to show their religion in schools either if a kid can’t show theirs and she clearly is showing what she believes when she made her list of rules!! She should be suspended for even having that on her list of rules. Dumbest thing I have ever heard! If they don’t want religion in schools it should go for nonbeliever as well!!!
God will BLESS you for you blessing someone else !!!
Fire the teacher. The kid did nothing wrong. Bless her heart.
This is the America that we now live in. So stupid. I guess you would get suspended for saying the Pledge of Allegiance.
Saw “Fox 13” in the corner and didn’t even bother to click.
Someone, anyone, animal rescue begins with ourselves.
Guess the teacher prefers her students to use fouls language.
