Kendra Turner, 17, of Dyersburg, Tennessee was suspended because she said ‘bless you’ to another student who sneezed.
It seems that the teacher has a list of words you can’t say in class, and ‘bless you’ is on the list. The teacher told the Turner “Now we will not have godly speaking in my class.”

She was not suspended for saying bless you. She was suspended for disrupting the class by yelling bless you and arguing with the teacher.
She should have observed the rules of the classroom end of discussion!
Saying bless you loudly and unsolicited is hella obnoxious!
