Kendra Turner, 17, of Dyersburg, Tennessee was suspended because she said ‘bless you’ to another student who sneezed.
It seems that the teacher has a list of words you can’t say in class, and ‘bless you’ is on the list. The teacher told the Turner “Now we will not have godly speaking in my class.”

I usually do not post comments but I do agree (not fully but to a degree) with Andy Reimer. I am friends on Facebook with people that are far Right & with people that are far Left in their political views. What Andy says applies equally to the Right & Left.

Norma, that article adds nothing to verify the truth, either way. What do we have so far? A 17 year old statement. No statement from the school( they can’t) no third party corroboration. No recording, either audio or video. Nothing other than a 17 year olds statement who probably was afraid of what mom and dad would say when they heard she was suspended. Hmmmm. At the very least, if you claim to have an open mind, the best you can say is that it sounds suspicious, but you will wait for the facts.
Gee Vince that comment is clear as mud. Andy says he researched this and doesn’t read left wing stuff except his timeline shares Mother Jones info. I did not see his research because he didn’t present any??? I have read many different news organizations and all agree with this narrative.
